1. WHAT SHOULD I EXPECT ON ARRIVAL DAY?<\/b><\/p>

a. Airport Arrival Information:<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Arrival date: Saturday, June 28, 2025<\/span><\/p>

Arrival airport: Philadelphia International Airport (PHL)<\/p>

Airport pickup: The BETT Interns will pick up all BETT participants from PHL at your scheduled arrival time of 11:30 AM. From the airport, we will take you to your accommodations and help you get checked in and settled.<\/p>

We will also provide airport drop off on August 8th. The Temple University bus will depart the campus at 11:00 PM for your 5:25 PM departure.<\/p>

b. Accommodation:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

BETT students will reside at a Temple’s premiere residence hall, Morgan Hall North. For more on Morgan Hall including a virtual tour, click\u00a0here<\/a>.<\/p>

c. Transportation:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

SEPTA (the city\u2019s public transportation) passes will be provided. You will use this pass to commute for some of the trips and anywhere else you may want to go.\u00a0<\/p>

d. Meals:\u00a0<\/b><\/p>

2. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO BEFORE I ARRIVE?<\/b><\/p>

a. Temple University Identification Card:<\/b><\/p>

You must have a university identification card, called an Owl Card. The card permits access to university buildings and allows you to use the library, recreational facilities, and other university services. Additionally, this card holds Diamond Dollars which you will use to purchase food and supplies in and around campus. You should carry your Owl Card with you at all times.<\/p>

b. TU AccessNet Account Set-Up:\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>

All Temple University students have AccessNet accounts to connect to TUWireless (Temple\u2019s wireless network) and log in to computers at the Tech Center and all over campus. It is very important to create your AccessNet account before arriving on campus. This will allow you to use Temple wifi right away.<\/span><\/p>

3. WHAT WILL THE FIRST DAY LOOK LIKE?<\/b><\/p>

a. Orientation: Monday, June 30<\/b><\/p>

During orientation you will learn more about TU and the BETT program. Information sessions will include: An overview of Temple University and Philadelphia, safety, student services and academics presentations, and lunch.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
