We were out in full force for our 2nd year to show the community what we do in bioengineering and #STEM! Thank you to the Franklin Institute, Philadelphia Science Festival for letting us share in this special day! #GetNerdyPHL
We demo’d organs-on-chips and microfluidics in “Can You Make an Organ?” to nearly 600 attendees with barely a moment to catch our breaths!
The crew after the event ended, please note the food-coloring dyed tablecloth. Not pictured, our food-coloring dyed hands 😉
Behind the scenes view! We expanded from 1 table last year, to 2 this year.
This little girl kept sneaking back for more experiments. She came back at least 3 times. That’s dedication!
Crowds of future #STEM students and their families were curious to learn more!
Crowds of future #STEM students and their families were curious to learn more! If you look carefully, you can see our lab members poking out in the crowd 🙂
We loved seeing the looks of concentration in the future of #STEM.
Niko enjoyed getting on the same level as the students.
