{"id":44,"date":"2021-02-10T17:49:33","date_gmt":"2021-02-10T22:49:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/bapalphaphi\/?page_id=44"},"modified":"2021-09-15T14:20:14","modified_gmt":"2021-09-15T18:20:14","slug":"eligibility","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/sites.temple.edu\/bapalphaphi\/eligibility\/","title":{"rendered":"Eligibility"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">Undergraduate and Graduate Students<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Students who wish to become a member must first fulfill candidacy requirements before initiated as a lifetime member.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To be a candidate, students must:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Have a declared major in Accounting, Finance, or MIS<\/li><li>Have completed at least 30 credits at Temple or elsewhere before induction<\/li><li>Have achieved a cumulative and major GPA of 3.0 before induction+<ul><li>Therefore, Enrolled in or Completed a Major Course<\/li><li><em>Accounting majors:<\/em>\u00a0ACCT 3511 B or higher<\/li><li><em>Finance majors:<\/em>\u00a0FIN 3101 B or higher<\/li><li><em>MIS majors:<\/em>\u00a0MIS 2502 B or higher\u00a0<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Attend the following in the semester:<ul><li>10 Hours of Professional Events<\/li><li>6 Hours of Service Events<\/li><li>2 Signature Events<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Pay the candidacy fee<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><em>* If you do not complete the candidacy process successfully IN ONE YEAR, you will have to pay this fee again *<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Undergraduate and Graduate Students Students who wish to become a member must first fulfill candidacy requirements before initiated as a lifetime member.
