On one hand, automotive radar systems are required to be compact, use a limited number of antennas, and consume low power. On the other hand, the rapid growth in the number of automotive radar systems has raised concerns about spectrum congestion, motivating the development of radar waveforms with substantially reduced time and frequency occupancy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the webinar, Dr. Zhang and Dr. Sun presented recent advances in sparse array design and processing, single-snapshot and one-bit data processing, model-based learning, multi-frequency sparse arrays, sparse waveform design, and waveform sharing through integer partitioning. Collectively, these efforts aim to substantially reduce system complexity and spectrum usage while enhancing sensing performance.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
Dr. Yimin D.
