Dr. Yimin D. Zhang has been recognized by the IEEE Signal Processing Society (SPS) with the 2024 Outstanding Editorial Board Member Award, \u201cfor outstanding editorial board service for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Dr. Zhang has been serving as a Senior Area Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing <\/em>since 2022. In this role, he pre-screens assigned papers to ensure that only qualified submissions proceed to peer review, thereby improving the efficiency and quality of the editorial process. The evaluations primarily focus on the scope, novelty, completeness, and comprehensiveness of each submission.<\/p>\n

Prior to his current role, Dr. Zhang served as an Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing<\/em> from 2010\u20132014 and 2015\u20132019.<\/p>\n

IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing<\/em> is the flagship journal of the IEEE Signal Processing Society, dedicated to publishing original and impactful research in all areas of signal processing, including theory, algorithms, performance analysis, and applications.<\/p>\n

In addition to his work with IEEE Transactions on SIgnal Processing, Dr. Zhang has served on the editorial boards of several other IEEE journals, including IEEE Transactions on Aerospace and Electronic Systems<\/em> and IEEE Signal Processing Letters<\/em>. He also serves as an Editor for Signal Processing, a publication of European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) and published by Elsevier.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n
