Zhang, Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Temple University, has been named a Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), effective January 1, 2019, &#8220;for contributions to high-resolution direction finding and radar signal processing.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Fellow is the highest grade of membership of IEEE and is recognized by the technical community as a prestigious honor and an important career achievement.\u00a0\u00a0Each year, following a rigorous evaluation procedure and based on the recommendation from the IEEE Fellow Committee, the IEEE Board of Directors elevates a select group of recipients for elevation to IEEE Fellow. Less than 0.1% of voting members are selected annually for this Fellow grade elevation. This year, 295 members became IEEE Fellows of class 2019.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">The IEEE is the world&#8217;s leading professional association for advancing technology for humanity.
