Dr. Yimin Daniel Zhang, Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Temple University, has been appointed an Associate Editor for the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. As the world’s premiere journal on signal processing published by the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), the IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing publishes significant contributions of signal processing. Dr. Zhang will be responsible for the publication’s peer review process for submitted papers in the areas of Sensor Array and Multichannel Processing (SAM), Radar and Sonar Signal Processing (RDS), and Digital and Multirate Signal Processing (DSP). Dr. Zhang had previously served as an Associate Editor for this journal during 2010-2014.
Dr. Zhang is also on the editorial board of Signal Processing, a publication of the European Association for Signal Processing (EURASIP) that features original research work, tutorial and review articles in all aspects of the theory and practice of signal processing. He was an Associate Editor for IEEE Signal Processing Letters during 2006-2010, and an Associate Editor for the Journal of the Franklin Institute during 2007-2013.
Dr. Zhang is a senior member of the IEEE, a senior member of International Society of Optics and Photonics (SPIE), and a member of EURASIP. He has authored more than 270 journal articles, book chapters, and conference papers on a wide range of signal processing topics.
