(Congrats Dominick) the first of many!

I usually do not have much of an excuse to leave Philly these days, but when I do I usually have a good reason. This past weekend I packed my luggage and drove back home to watch my older brother Dominick’s commencement ceremony at Millersville University. It was not only an important day for him but for my parents. Dominick’s graduation marks the first of my four siblings who have graduated from college. He graduated with a bachelors in Business Administration.

Dominick’s journey like all of us undergraduates had its highs and lows. After his freshman year on campus, he had returned home and commuted to Millersville his Sophomore year. I had thought when had returned home he would not be able to persevere through the adversity he had faced. In the face of adversity, Dom had the tenacity and resolve to overcome the challenges and struggles.

I wish you all the best in the next chapter of your life. I am so proud of you and can not wait to see what all you accomplish. Way to go!
