A lower cost of implementation, according to Altman, means that AI systems can be made more accessible. Lastly, super-exponential socioeconomic value growth refers to Altman’s vision that AI can serve as a catalyst for socioeconomic development. For Altman, AI will replicate human capabilities, allowing society to adapt and configure into a new society. These rules help signify a more gradual shift to an AI-based society, rather than an abrupt one.
