About The Instructors

Christina is a Senior Health Professions major with a minor in Biology and is on the pre-medical track. She attended Brookdale Community College and obtained her Associate’s Degree in Science before transferring to Temple University. She is the founder of Adventure Bound. During her time at Temple, she has earned her EMT Certification, worked in hospitals and EMS, as well as volunteering with TUEMS where she is the Lieutenant of Administration! She has loved the outdoors her entire life, and has a broad background in camping, hiking, beach volleyball, longboarding, and many other outdoor activities! Christina has a focused interest in wilderness first aid, as she believes it’s a perfect combination of two major things in her life, and she likes the ability to be creative in those situations to discover new ways to help people with limited resources!

Brandon is a Sophomore Nursing major from Massachusetts. He has worked for the MassDCR and the Boy Scouts of America. He currently works for a 911 ambulance company in North East Massachusetts. During the summers he works for a guiding agency in Northern Maine leading 7-14 day long canoe trips across the state. He has experience in canoeing, backpacking, and camping.

Issa is a senior Environmental Science Major at Temple University. He is a Student Wellness Peer. He was a certified lifeguard.  He is an e-board member with Adventure Bound. He is a Gold Eco Rep with Temple Sustainability. He’s Worked at several hospitals providing emotional therapy, including HUP, Lankenau, and Einstein.  He is always up for an adventure!

Nadia is a Senior Psychology major on the pre-occupational therapy track at Temple University. She currently works with the Leadership and Career studies at Temple University as a peer coach for students attending with intellectual disability. She enthusiastically co-founded Adventure Bound soon after transferring from Brookdale community College in New Jersey with an associates degree in Health Science. She also has a vibrantly abundant background in hiking, camping, skiing, and exploring in her free time.
