Air Monitoring in Southwest Philadelphia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Clean Air Council is installing PurpleAir sensors at community members’ homes along I-95 to monitor the pollution that comes from the personal vehicles, trucks, and semis that drive along the busy corridor every day. Read the WHYY article about their project here<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Death by Diesel<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Done by the Clean Air Task Force, Death by Diesel explores the health outcomes of diesel fuel exhaust, PM2.5 exhaust known as diesel particulate matter (DPM). Explore their map of the US here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This interactive site<\/a> created by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation explores how socioeconomic status effects how long you may live. Type your address into the search bar to view the life expectancy of your neighborhood, and the factors that influence it.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
