Aliyah Cherogony is a dedicated acting student at Temple University with a passion for storytelling and authentic performance. Originally from Kenya, she brings a rich cultural perspective to her work and is deeply inspired by the power of global storytelling. Through her training in acting technique, scene study, voice, and movement, she has developed a strong foundation in character development and emotional connection. Her work in scene-based performances has allowed her to explore a wide range of roles while honing her collaborative skills with fellow actors and directors.
Looking toward the future, Aliyah hopes to contribute to and help expand Kenya’s theater and film industry further, using her education and craft to tell meaningful stories and amplify diverse voices on both local and global stages. She is committed to growing as a versatile artist and continuing to develop her work in both theater and on-screen performance.
