PPL Policy Challenge

Teams develop solutions to major issues in local, national, or global politics. This year’s challenge prompt will focus on healthcare policy. Proposals are presented to a panel of judges who will select a winner during a live event. The winning team will receive a cash prize as well as support to attend the 2026 Policy Super Bowl at the University of Chicago!

  • Teams of 2–4 students.
  • Open to undergraduate and master’s students from across Temple University.
  • Teams receive a prompt and develop a proposal in response.
  • Final proposals are 2 pages.
  • Mentorship opportunities and practice sessions will be offered.

  • Teams receive 3 minutes to present their proposal followed by 3 minutes of Q&A from judges.
  • Winning team shares a $500 prize!
  • Prizes for 2nd and 3rd place teams as well.
  • Winning team invited to represent Temple at the 2026 Policy Super Bowl in Chicago.
  • Travel support and mentorship are provided!
