The 100 Hour Personal Care Home Administrators Course offered by Temple University is a course required by DPW for those individuals who would like to become Personal Care Home Administrators. Prior to initial employment as an administrator a candidate must successfully complete the following:
(1) An orientation program approved and administered by the Department.
(2) A 100-hour standardized Department-approved administrator training course.
(3) A Department-approved competency-based training test with a passing score.

The 100 hour course is scheduled to start on March 5th, 2014 (*pending sufficient enrollment.) Including the exam, the course is 17 weeks. The exam will be held on Wednesday, June 25, 2014. The course will be held at the Temple University Campus in North Philadelphia in Barton Hall.
The course is $1175.00. *If you already have a valid Certification in CPR/First Aid you may submit it with your application. In that case, you may waive the CPR/First Aid module and your payment will be $1095.00.
