We are constantly bombarded with external cues and sensory stimuli that our brain must integrate to execute real time changes in cell to cell communication. How this information is processed at the level of an individual neuron remains a crucial question in the field of neuroscience. Our lab uses a number of techniques including electrophysiology, genetics, behavior, and molecular biology to explore the molecular signals that drive neuronal plasticity and brain function.
